Avoid cleaning water in your faecal waste and end product

The cleaning of the stomach and omasum tends to take place in one manipulation and in the same machine, which results in the cleaning water ending up in both the faecal matter and the intestines. This leads to increased water consumption, increased faecal weight and an increased concentration of faecal matter in the cleaning water, partly because insufficient dewatering is taking place.

Our innovative approach provides the solution, in particular by splitting this process into phases:

Phase 1: stomach and omasum are emptied using only a minimal amount of water

Phase 2: omasum and stomach are washed separately

► No more cleaning water in the faecal matter and intestines

► No more faecal matter in the cleaning water, which means that this can now be treated by the water purification plant

► More time to remove and wash faecal matter
